No, Poles didn't collaborate with Germans. Nobody was eagger to collaborate with invader. Germans were enemies. For the collaboration there was sentence of death issued by underground Polish army. If happened that a single criminal was collaborating with Germans, he or she was executed by Polish Armia Krajowa.
Also most bloody, barbarian German officers were executed by Polish partisans. There were Polish actions to free Polish prisons. Germans were very cruel to citizens after each action. They used to kill 100 Poles per one killed German. For helping for Jews there was also German death sentence for all Polish family and village who was helping to hide and feed Jews.
Hundreds thousands Poles got killed by Germans for hiding Jews and they didnt get a single tree in your Yad Vashem.
I think they shouldn't hide Jews. It was too risky, too dangers and Polish blood and life is too precious to waste it for a nation who likes to slander their saviours.
