Poles are Slavonic nation, very humanitarian and friendly. We were the only state in Europe where Jews from all Europe were escaping since ages, because they were persecuted in other countries for their financial crimes and political intrigue.
Our Polish kings gave Jews chance to leave good, safe life. They were protected in Poland since ages. Jews living in Poland were Polish citizens and were protected by Polish kings, and later by our Polish Parliament and government and army including resistance army.
I wonder, why everyone knows about Shindler but nobody heard, that Polish government and army including resistance army and Polish Catholic Church, priests and nuns and just Polish Christian neighbours saved millions Jews in Poland.
Every single Jew who survived Hitler survived because of Polish help. There was no other possibility to survive German occupation without Polish help (exept collaboration with Germans, but even despite the collaboration Jews were exterminated after they weren't needed anymore).
