Holocaust was a customary punishment among Germans, not Poles. Shutting Poles or Jews in a church or barn and burning them alive was a customary punishment used by Germans since ages and very common also during the II WW actions.
Germans were imposing a harsh and brutal occupation of Poland. When they started the war with Stalin they had strong reasons to exterminate Jews, cos Jews used to be soviet agents and spies in Poland.
Germans had barbarian units specialised in burning people alive. They had weapon. Poles didn't.
Germans had many tasks like that in Poland. The crime in Jedwabne was one of them. It was one of numerous actions done by Germans at that time.
Poles didn't take part in killing Jews. In the barn were killed not only Jews, but also some Poles. The people were shoot and burnt.
Poles didn't have guns nor fuel. Germans had a lot of guns, also fuel for burning the barn.
Stop blaming us for German crimes!!!
There are documents and testimonials that Germans burnt Jews in Jedwabne. They admitted that also on trials in Norymberga.
